Another theme Breitling clock back? Who would have thought? The brand we like love, but you hate the internet (just visit the site, and you know what I mean) brings us a new clock with Automatic Chronograph Breitling Cosmonaut. Sort of simple names, if you ask me, but I like everything about space travel. Interestingly, the clock was "Cosmonaut" (astronauts) to log in with the Russian vessel, at least, the clock is supposed to keep an American flavor. What exactly is happening here in the marketing department of Breitling? There was a time to look at the company focused on the American aerospace industry, but now you are a remarkable change of emphasis in Russian - and to a lesser extent Japan - Space Program. I think it is because the Omega has the U.S. market with Speed Master Moon Watch horn, and the Russians buy and sell like crazy (and return as quickly rounded up the economy section). Just some speculation, however.
Going back to what the clock is supposed to celebrate. Breitling says that the (Breitling) 125 years of existence, and they make this clock to Scott Carpenter in 1962 mission aboard the Aurora 7 capsule, which he tested for the first time to celebrate with a stopwatch in space. It was basically an orbital flight around the Earth. I think he was wearing a Breitling at the time. Ok, so it's cool, but what about the clock itself?
